FAQ

Before you dig in, the short answers.

How do I start a subscription business on Shopify?

Three steps: pick the products that make sense on a repeat schedule (consumables, refills, curated boxes), install a subscription app to handle the recurring billing Shopify doesn't do natively, and put a Subscribe & Save option on your product pages with a discount worth committing to. With Daima that's about 15 minutes: install from the App Store, create a subscription plan, and the widget appears on your product pages. The Getting Started guide below walks through every step.

How do customers cancel or pause their subscriptions?

Themselves, without emailing you. Every subscriber gets a self-serve portal where they can skip a delivery, pause, resume, swap products, change their billing date, or cancel. Skip and pause are offered before cancel on purpose — most "cancellations" are really "too much product this month," and giving customers that option is one of the simplest churn reducers there is.

Can I migrate from Recharge, Loop, or another subscription app?

Yes. Daima imports existing subscription contracts via CSV, and the migration guide covers the export-map-import flow plus the switchover order that avoids double-billing anyone. Your subscribers keep their plans, discounts, and billing dates — they don't need to re-subscribe.
